Why I am writing here
A personal site should be more than a list of roles. This is a place to keep the thinking that happens between the projects.
A list of titles can tell you where someone spends time. It rarely tells you what they are noticing.
I wanted a place for the second part: the ideas that appear while building companies, working with new technology and helping institutions make decisions with consequences beyond the next quarter.
The work between the work
Most useful lessons do not arrive as polished announcements. They emerge as a changed assumption, a failed experiment, a surprising conversation or a tool that quietly alters how a team thinks. LinkedIn is good for starting a conversation. Product sites are good for explaining a product. Neither is quite the right permanent home for those field notes.
This site is. I will write about durable AI memory, founder work, learning systems, the Faroe Islands, and the practical business of building from a small place with a wide horizon.
Why Usable CMS
The site also has to practise what I am working on. Its content lives in Usable, where drafts, published versions and the context behind them can remain connected. The public website is still a fast, independent renderer, with a checked-in fallback if the content service is unavailable.
That split matters. Tools should increase your agency without taking your work hostage.
A working notebook in public
I expect the writing here to be concrete, occasionally unfinished and revised when reality provides a better answer. The promise is not a stream of certainty. It is a useful record of the work and what it teaches.
